2020 Fall Clinics

Due to Covid-19 closures of school sites, we will instead be offering weekly clinics separated by grade! 

  • Register here for:
    • 1st/2nd grade clinics (FULL)
    • 3rd/4th grade clinics (FULL)
    • 5th/6th grade clinics (FULL)
    • 7th/8th grade clinics (FULL)

    • Clinic details:
      • Boys and girls
      • Days/times: Fridays or Saturdays (see grade breakdowns below)
      • Length: 8 weeks (8 sessions), starting the weekend of September 11th
      • Location: Doral Academy of Northern Nevada
      • Cost: $100
      • Clinics will be coached by a Sierra Nevada Basketball staff member
      • Each session will consist of ballhandling and shooting drills, as well as games
      • Minimum of 8 players needed per group, maximum of 16 players


    • 1st/2nd graders:
      • Fridays: 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6
      • 5:30-6:30 pm each Friday
      • Doral Academy of Northern Nevada
    • 3rd/4th graders:
      • Saturdays: 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7
      • 9:00-10:00 am each Saturday
      • Doral Academy of Northern Nevada
    • 5th/6th graders:
      • Saturdays: 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7
      • 10:00-11:00 am each Saturday
      • Doral Academy of Northern Nevada
    • 7th/8th graders:
      • Saturdays: 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7

    • Rules we need to follow for Doral Academy to stay in compliance:
      • Parents are asked to drop-off and pick-up only, and are not able to stay to spectate (sorry)
      • Players must enter and exit the facility wearing a face covering 
        • Once they begin basketball activities, they are welcome to take off the face coverings


    • We ask that the kids bring:
      • Face covering
        • They will not need to wear it while working out, but they must wear it as they enter and exit the building
      • An indoor basketball
      • Non-marking indoor shoes
      • Water


    • Safety protocols:
      • Lots of hand sanitizer
      • Coaches will have hand sanitizer to use for players after each drill
      • Coaches will wear face coverings except for while coaching/directing
      • IR thermometer checks when arriving
      • Restrooms will be available for players (and will be sanitized)
